Kauai Landscape Photographer: Born and raised on the Island paradise of Jamaica, for me, the physical beauty of the tropics has always represented the feeling of home.

Growing up with a love for the life sciences and eventually pursuing post-graduate training in cell and molecular biology produced an interesting hybrid of an aspiring photographer blended with a skilled biomedical researcher.

The resulting dichotomy was and remains a tricky balance. During my years as a PhD candidate, science handily won the tug-of-war for my attention - but simultaneously led me to explore photography more sincerely as a vital outlet. 

Along the way I've learned to see the art in the landscapes that lay before me, to capture the spirit of individual moments, and to aspire to tell the stories that are waiting for us all within the boundaries of individual frames.

Now, I'm fortunate enough to call another Island paradise my new home - Kaua‘i! Here just as my first home, the visual stories and creative possibilities are endless!
